God Loves You

Do you know who loves you most? It is the Almighty, God, our Creator (Revelation 1:8; Genesis 1:26,27; 2:7). This eternal God loves you so much that He sent Jesus Christ, His only Son, to die on the cross, so that your sins may be forgiven (Luke 23:34).

Do you know why God loves you so? Because He is the loving God Who has created you in His image. Your soul will never die and is more precious to God than the whole world (Matthew 16:26).

God loves you, but He hates sin and must judge it. Sin grieves the heart of God; it separates you from Him. On the judgment day, Christ will say to sinners, “Depart from Me, you cursed into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels”; “…but the righteous shall enter into eternal life” (Matthew 25:41,46).

Because the first man Adam disobeyed God, sin, curse, sickness and death entered into the world; we all became sinners, and were condemned to eternal fire in hell. Yet God loves mankind, whom He has created, and redeemed them through Christ’s death and has restored all the blessings Adam lost because of his sin and disobedience (Romans 5:1-21; Ephesians 1 :3- 1 4).

Jesus died in your place that you might not be condemned, but live with God in heaven forever if you put your trust in Him. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

You can see how God loves you. He did not send one of His angels to save you, but He sent His only Son into the world to redeem you because He loves you. Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). However, God is holy and just. He will receive you only when you repent and accept Christ’s atonement for your sins (John 3:3; Romans 3:24-26). Jesus said, “Repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15).

Therefore, repent and believe that Jesus Christ alone died for your sins and receive Him into your heart as your personal Savior and Lord. God certainly will wash away all your sins in the blood of Jesus and make you spotless. The Holy Spirit will change your life and give you a new heart when you hear the Word of God and obey it. He will sanctify you and fill you with His love, joy and peace, wisdom and power and guide you to live for His kingdom.

Dear friend, obey the Word of the Almighty God Who loves you. Repent and turn to God now. You have but one life, you may die suddenly; you do not know when and how. But God in His mercy, gives you a chance to prepare yourself for eternity. Without God’s forgiveness, you will be cast into the lake of fire “where your soul does not die and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:47.48). There is no forgiveness after death, but the judgment of God (Hebrews 9:27). Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life. He will raise you up from the dead and will judge you according to your deeds (John 11:25; John 5:24-29). Think and act now. At the time of death, you have to face God, His judgment and eternity!

Acknowledge that you are a sinner. You need a Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who can deliver you from your sins to escape God’s wrath and judgment to come. Ask God now to forgive your sins by saying this prayer to Him with your sincere heart.

PRAYER

“Dear God, forgive me, a sinner, who deserves the death that Jesus has taken. I am very sorry for all of my sins and turn to You now. I confess and believe that Jesus Christ Your only Son, Who suffered and died on the cross, was buried and rose up again to redeem me. Please cleanse me with the blood of Jesus and make me Your child. I Invite Jesus to come into my heart as my personal Savior and Lord of my life. Help me to live for You from this day on. Thank You my Father, for saving my soul in Jesus’ name! Amen.”

What a privilege to be a child of the living God! Thank Jesus for saving you always.
