Healing is yours!
Though man has everything like wealth, education, status etc., he lacks rest, happiness, peace and health in his life. He makes many efforts to obtain joy and peace he spends money and indulges in sinful pleasures, but to no avail. He is unaware that all these things only bring restlessness in his soul, and sickness and death in his body.
When God created man, He created him not only in His own image and likeness, but also with happiness, peace, rest, a healthy body and with eternal life. But when man broke the commandment of the Lord and sinned, he not only lost his blessings, but also became a slave to death, fear and distress in his soul and to weakness and incurable diseases in his body.
Though many methods like medical healing and demonic healing are resorted to, nothing seems to grant man perfect healing. Moreover, certain medicines, new sicknesses are appearing and posing a great challenge to even doctors. Under these circumstances, you may be troubled, wondering whether there is any doctor at all in this 20th century to cure you of your sickness.
Friends, we introduce a doctor to you. I.t will suffice if you come to Him with faith. He is the best Physician for humanity. He Whose name is ‘Jesus’ says, “I am the Lord Who heals you” (Exo.15:26). ” … by His wounds we are healed”; “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases”; (Isa.53:5; Matt.8:17). He calls us saying, “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matt. 11:28). Jesus has conquered sin, sickness, curse and even death, and lives for evermore. And He promises the same victory to those who believe!
If you confess your sins to the Lord Jesus with repentance, and accept Him as your personal Saviour, He will not only forgive your sins .and give you rest in your soul, but will also take away the sickness in your body and grant you perfect healing. “Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, “Who redeems your life from the pit” (Psa. 103:3,4). “He sent forth His Word and healed them; He rescued them from the grave” (Psa.107:20). The Word of God says, “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, by His wounds you have been healed” (I Pet.2:24).
Jesus was moved with compassion, on seeing the sick. He healed ten lepers. Virtue went out of Him and healed the woman with an issue of blood. All the sick who came to Jesus returned whole. He made the blind to see, the deaf to hear, the dumb to speak and the lame to walk. He even raised the dead to life. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Even today His hand is not shortened that it cannot heal.
Medical science and surgery may heal a man physically. But the divine healing given freely by our heavenly Physician, Jesus, is able to heal not only the body, but also the mind, soul and all other aspects of a man’s being.
So if you want to be healed right now, no matter what your sickness is, and even if doctors have given up on you, surrender your entire being into the hands of the Lord and heavenly Physician, Jesus, and pray as follows:
“Lord Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross at Calvary not only for my sins, but also for my sicknesses. Graciously forgive all my sins, deliver me from my sickness and grant me perfect healing. I desire to live a clean life as Your child. Amen.”
